Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automating software delivery for Container platforms and Hadoop platforms.

• Design and implement containerization strategies using technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, orchestration platforms, such as OpenShift to deploy, scale, and maintain containerized applications.

• Integrate CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bitbucket, Ansible Tower into the development workflow across multiple SDLC lanes.

• Create and maintain automation workflows and job templates in Ansible Tower.

• Troubleshoot issues related to container CI/CD pipelines, container deployments, and container orchestration platforms.

• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure timely patching of vulnerable containers and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

• Design and implement containerization strategies using technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and orchestration platforms.

• Work across business and technology teams to create the solution intent and architectural vision and evolve it to an emerging backlog.

• Implement container security scanning tools and Aqua Scan to scan container images for vulnerabilities and maintain a vulnerability database to keep track of known issues in container images.

• Set up and configure monitoring and alerting systems using Dynatrace/Ansible playbooks to ensure the availability and performance of applications and infrastructure.

• Continuously monitor and optimize system performance, scalability, and resource utilization using OpenShift metrics.

• Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related; and

• 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation.

• Must include 3 years of experience in each of the following:

• Designing and implementing containerization strategies using technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and orchestration platforms;

• Working across business and technology teams to create the solution intent and architectural vision and evolve it to an emerging backlog;

• Implementing container security scanning tools and Aqua Scan to scan container images for vulnerabilities and maintaining a vulnerability database to keep track of known issues in container images;

• Setting up and configuring monitoring and alerting systems using Dynatrace/Ansible playbooks to ensure the availability and performance of applications and infrastructure; and,

• Continuously monitoring and optimizing system performance, scalability, and resource utilization using OpenShift metrics.
