What to Expect You will support daily operations and work on process system efficiency, capacity, and quality improvement.
What You’ll Do - Monitor all mechanical equipment within a commercial building, including chillers, boilers, cooling towers, pumps, heat exchangers, and building automation systems
- Demonstrate general experience troubleshooting and improving Process mechanical system
- Interact with tenants and ensure all engineering requests are effectively addressed
- Work with on-site contractors and vendors
- Effectively respond to and resolve operations process issues
- Implement safety programs and protocols
- Support maintenance and reliability engineering team to increase facility system reliability and efficiency.
- Identify and implement improvement projects
- Interface heavily with design and installation teams to assure quality system delivery.
- Understand and apply Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) concepts and root cause failure analysis to open-ended problems
What You’ll Bring - Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or 3+ years of relevant working experience
- Operation experience in hydronics for industrial / pharmaceutical / bio-tech / semiconductor type facilities is preferred
- Intermediate knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and systems, including pumps, pneumatics, fans, flow meters, air handling systems, industrial chilled water, heating, process piping, rotating equipment, mass and heat transfer
- Strong troubleshooting background and issue resolution
- Ability to demonstrate solid data and system analysis skill
- System commissioning and startup experience a plus
