Reporting to thetheLogistics Coordinatorrole is responsible for performing the physical or combinedadministrative/physicaltasks involved in the storing, counting and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Packages, receives, ships and moves materials through warehouse process by performing the following duties.


What a typical day looks like:

  • Checking to ensure if material was delivered correctly.
  • Moving pallets to holding area and sort material by product type.
  • Ensuring that oldest material is delivered to receiving first. Package parts in assigned packaging using established standards.
  • Reviewing customer releases
  • Ensuring travel card remains with part and label and route packages accordingly.
  • Determining re-use condition of packaging and re-use per established standards.
  • Packaging material for shipment ensuring accuracy of product and paperwork.
  • Stocking material on shelves ensuring accuracy neatness.
  • Labeling all problem parts and route to appropriate area. Examine box/labels and determine receivable type and enter information on products into systems. May assist in training new employees in work procedures and rules.
  • Keeping work area free of debris and may audit kits for accuracy.
  • Performing all tasks involved in the distribution flow of material, supplies, and equipment.
  • Verifying goods received against bills of lading, purchase orders, or other documents

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • Completion of high school, vocational training or equivalent is preferred.
  • Minimum of six months stock experience, data entry and retrieval from computer terminals.
  • Experience operating a forklift
  • Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.
  • Ability to read and apply color-coding and schematics; Cables: component prepping, inspect components; operate telephones, data entry equipment, spreadsheet software
  • Knowledge of ESD handling procedures.
  • Ability to effectively interface with other team members to attain goal and solve problems.
  • Must be able to successfully complete the Material Handler Assessment Program.
