Key Qualifications
- Relevant industry experience developing consumer electronics and/ or embedded systems.
- Strong EE fundamentals (analog/ digital design, signal/power integrity, etc.)
- Experience in three or more of the following areas:
- Lab environment using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, frequency counters, etc.
- EE-Optical related test for early display module validation, characterization, and establish display module behavior model.
- Design high volume products from beginning to end and managing contract manufacturers.
- Design and characterization of three or more: DDR3/4, USB-C, LPDP, MIPI, I2C/SPI/UART, MCU, DC-DC converters, power management, low power design.
- Implementation and support for display IP integration and design verification.
- Display electrical, power, backplane, silicon, module integration.
- Image sensing/processing, digital signal processing (DSP).
- FPGA based display system prototyping.
- Color science, computer vision/graphics and module optics.
- Strong verbal and written communications
- Ability to travel internationally up to 10% of the time
Education & Experience
BS and a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $170,700.00 and $300,200.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
