This Product Development intern will develop sophisticated processes for managing data sets collected during the build of critical mechanical assembly for next generation electron optics inspection systems. The candidate will quickly learn types of data collected, assume responsibility for ensuring accuracy of data and support data analysis to draw meaningful conclusions . They will improve existing methodologies for new process development, monitoring existing processes, and establishing process control criterions. They will work with the larger team and contribute to improve quality & process flow.
- Support correlation studies between build data and tool performance data
- Conducting tests and monitoring the process performance through data analytics SW such as JMP
- Troubleshooting problems associated with manufacturing processes
- Make detailed records of results and contribute to written reports or presentations as required
- Improve process monitoring through SPC methodology, root cause analysis
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with characterization techniques such as SEM, ellipsometry, XPS, MS, FTIR, XRF, elemental analysis etc.
- Experience in statistical analysis tools, i.e. SPC methodology and DOE
- Data analytics using JMP or other statistical software
Desired skills:
- Ideally, current PhD student looking to graduate within 1-2 years
- Curiosity and drive to learn new concepts. Contribute with new ideas and challenge assumptions
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to look at problems from multiple viewpoints
- Understanding of process engineering software and systems
Minimum Qualifications
