Mission générale de la fonction

La R&D Animal Health Technology Labs est une équipe de 300 personnes deployée sur différents sites partout dans le monde (Israël, France, Allemagne, USA, Australie…). Les métiers sont extrêmement diversifiés avec des experts logiciels, intelligence artificielle, mécanique, électronique, plastiques, chef de projets, laboratoires de tests…

L’alternant(e) ingénieur(e) intégrera l’équipe R&D identification qui développe des tags visuels (ovin, bovin, porcin), des tags électroniques (ovin, bovin, porcin), des implants (chiens, chats, équidés) ainsi que les applicateurs et les seringues permettant l’application des tags sur les animaux.

L’alternant(e) intégrera en particulier l’équipe de conception mécanique en charge de la conception des tags et des seringues.
L’équipe de conception a la responsabilité du développement de la phase innovation jusqu’à la mise en place des équipements de production industrielles. Cette équipe gère également le support à la production pour les produits déjà industrialisés. Elle est en lien permanent avec nos 8 sites de productions basés sur tous les continents.

L’équipe R&D est en étroite collaboration avec les équipes marketing, industrielles, manufacturing, brevets, achats, supply et qualité.

Les missions pourront intégrer la recherche de nouvelles idées ou fonctions techniques, le développement de nouveaux produits, des études d’ergonomie sur l’utilisation de nos produits par les utilisateurs ou la recherche de nouvelles méthodes de conception pour accélérer nos développements.

L’environnement est international avec de nombreux contacts avec différents intervenants basés partout dans le monde.

Activités principales
Au sein de notre site de fabrication basé à Vitré, vous rejoindrez l’équipe de conception mécanique sous la supervision du Responsable de conception.
En tant qu’alternant(e) en conception mécanique, vous travaillerez en étroite collaboration avec les équipes de développement électronique,
industrielles, marketing ou de gestion de projet. Vous aurez comme activités principales :

• Développement de nouveau produit : Développement mécanique de tags pour l’identification en intégrant les contraintes de fabrication, matière, les moyens de contrôles ;
• Support aux sites industriels : Modification de produits existants pour répondre à des besoins qualités, des changements de matières ou des augmentations des moyens de production ;
• Innovation : Développement de nouvelles technologies pour répondre à de nouveaux besoins, améliorer la performance, réduire l’impact environnemental ;
• Développement de nouvelles méthodes de conception basées sur l’analyse de data, la modélisation ou le développement de méthodes de tests au laboratoire représentatifs des essais terrain.

Description du profil requis
Formation :

• Bac +2 (prépa, prépa intégrée ou autre formation) ;
• Vous préparez actuellement un diplôme d’ingénieur.

General mission of the function

The R&D Animal Health Technology Labs is a team of 300 people deployed on different sites around the world (Israel, France, Germany, USA, Australia...). The professions are extremely diversified with experts in software, artificial intelligence, mechanics, electronics, plastics, project managers, test laboratories, etc.

The work-study engineer will join the R&D identification team which develops visual tags (sheep, cattle, pigs), electronic tags (sheep, cattle, pigs), implants (dogs, cats, horses) as well as applicators and syringes allowing the application of tags on animals.

In particular, the work-study student will be part of the mechanical design team in charge of the design of tags and syringes. The design team is responsible for the development of the innovation phase through to the implementation of industrial production equipment. This team also manages production support for products that are already industrialized. It is in permanent contact with our 8 production sites based on all continents.

The R&D team is in close collaboration with the marketing, industrial, manufacturing, patents, purchasing, supply, and quality teams.

Assignments may include the search for new ideas or technical functions, the development of new products, ergonomic studies on the use of our products by users or the search for new design methods to accelerate our developments.

The environment is international with many contacts with different stakeholders based all over the world.

Main activities

Within our manufacturing site based in Vitré, you will join the mechanical design team under the supervision of the Design Manager. As a work-study student in mechanical design, you will work closely with the electronics, industrial, marketing or project management teams. Your main activities will be:

• New product development: Mechanical development of tags for identification by integrating manufacturing constraints, materials, control means ;
• Support for industrial sites: Modification of existing products to meet quality needs, changes in materials or increases in production resources ;
• Innovation: Development of new technologies to meet new needs, improve performance, reduce environmental impact ;
• Development of new design methods based on data analysis, modeling or the development of laboratory test methods representative of field trials.

This list of assignments is not exhaustive and you may be involved in other activities depending on your experience, needs and motivation that you will demonstrate.

Education:

• Bac +2 (preparatory course, integrated preparatory school or other training)
• You are currently working on an engineering degree
