Essential Responsibilities- Perform routine tasks in Product Assembly, bonding, potting, mixing epoxy, installing covers and other plastic/metal components.
- Reading blueprints, diagrams, or established operations practices to assemble and install various probe components.
- Perform solder touch-up or solder of parts as a secondary operation.
- Complete other duties as assigned and possibly to other areas: Wiring, Epoxy, Final Assembly/Lensing.
- Handle small, delicate parts with a high degree of accuracy to perform routine tasks in preparation for assembly.
- Follow method sheets to ensure documented and controlled processes are followed to assemble various electronic components.
- Perform a variety of electro-mechanical assembly operations by using common hand tools such as: Wire strippers, wrenches, screwdrivers, plyers and using small hand tools and soldering equipment.
- May operate automatic and semi-automatic assembly/production equipment.
- Organized, work independently, and ability to work in fast paced environments.
- Able to sit and work under a microscope for extended periods of time.
- Experience with hand soldering and using a microscope preferred.
Work Environment and Physical DemandsRequired QualificationsHigh School diploma or GED.
Basic computer proficiency.
Must be able to sit or stand at a workstation for extended periods of time and complete tasks using a microscope.
The ability to follow both verbal and written instructions along with strong communication skills.
Being flexible to changing needs of the business and department and will work overtime as needed.
Good manual dexterity.
Highly organized, self-managed individual who works independently and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
