BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- 3+ years of network and operating system support experience
- 3+ years of information security and compliance experience
- 3+ years of technical support experience


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Master’s Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science or related field, or relevant work experience
- Proficient in at least one scripting language like BASH, Python, Perl, etc.
- Exposure to cloud computing concepts and design considerations
- Deep hands-on expertise with many disparate AWS technologies.
- Experience with vulnerability assessments tools like Qualys, Rapid7, Nessus, etc.
- Exposure to virtualization and orchestration
- Have experience generating automated metrics to measure service and program effectiveness and consistency
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences
- Possess self-drive to keep moving things forward even in the face of ambiguity and imperfect knowledge (avoid “analysis paralysis”)
