What You’ll Do
  • Ability to mentor and develop a strong team through selective recruitment, thorough on-boarding, training, and coaching within the team. Management of team includes proactively planning for labor needs ahead of production ramp, communicating job expectations, performing employee performance reviews, and managing expectations in alignment to company policies and procedures
  • Oversee a team of technicians to troubleshoot yield loss, repair/rework, documentation, and accurate material inventory management
  • An effective communicator that allows seamless flow of information in a 24/7 operation on a compressed work-week shift
  • Track and report critical production data from management of non-conforming WIP, create categorizations such as process complexity, part quality, and other sources of production pain points to aggressively improve efficiency of the operation
  • Develop and maintain strategies for effective team skillset versatility
  • Develop effective training methodologies to support production associate onboarding and certification
  • Optimize labor utilization, reduce waste, and reduce variability. Align projects to drive manufacturing goals by reducing total number of defects generated per pack, labor repair hours, safety incidents, and rate
What You’ll Bring
  • Degree in Science, Business, Engineering, Technology or similar or equivalent experience. Prior Process Engineering, End-of-line repair, or Remanufacturing career history preferred
  • Ability to work and lead effectively with team and peers within a manufacturing organization
  • Enthusiastic, innovative, and take-charge attitude. This candidate can add value independently and set the team’s priorities based on competing and urgent priorities
  • Demonstrated history of documenting team’s versatility and developing team skillsets in assembly, repair, documentation, poka-yoke, and data collection
  • Ability to follow a template to provide clear, valuable metrics and critical information between shifts for seamless operations and shared learning. Categories include rate, output, safety, and quality
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in an assembly, manufacturing, or maintenance environment, minimum 1 year managing a team. Production lead may be considered depending on experience and background
