In this role, you will represent the marketing team as you work closely with internal business intelligence teams to define metrics to measure, analyze large datasets, and create business reports. You will also work cross-functionally with stakeholders from product, sales, and engineering.Key job responsibilities
• Own the design, development, and maintenance of marketing metrics, dashboards, and reports across our B2C and B2B businesses
• Define the data elements and data structure that our team should leverage to enable analytical and reporting capabilities
• Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources (incl. 1P data, marketing agency data, 3P advertising sites) and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format
• Prepare and deliver reports to the senior management team with customer insights, marketing performance analyses, and recommendations for improvementsA day in the life
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3+ years relevant experience in marketing/business analysis
- 3+ years experience working with a marketing team, incl. performance marketing
- 3+ years' experience in SQL and Excel (including Pivot Tables, array functions, Power Pivots, etc.)
- Experience defining business questions and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
- 2+ years of experience with Salesforce or marketing CRM (e.g., reporting on marketing funnel metrics)
- 2+ years experience with performance marketing and/or media reporting
- 2+ years of experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau)
- 2+ years of experience with a modern programming language (e.g., Ruby, Python, etc.)
- Advanced SQL proficiency - experience writing complex SQL statements and ability to manipulate a massive amount of data, creating dashboards/on demand reports
- Advanced proficiency with Excel
