Within this role, you will be supporting the Oracle Financial Services Application (OFSA) management accounting platform, within the Control Division. You will have a mix of monthly reporting, project and analysis responsibilities. This role unites financial concepts with information technology. Ideal candidates will have an interest in both the financial and the operational aspects of the position.Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities can be performed remotely, at your manager's discretion.Primary responsibilities and activities include:
• Performing as a key contributor within the management accounting team supporting the Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) function by supporting projects and initiatives.
• Implementing FTP methodologies for new and existing suite of banking products within our Oracle Financial Services Application (OFSA)
• Produce daily and monthly FTP reporting, including attribution analyses and variance commentary.
• Conduct project work within the FTP and Oracle Financial Services Application (OFSA) team on projects and methodology implementations. Current project work includes implementation of new or enhanced funding treatments on banking products, LIBOR transition and the expansion of OFSA to consume new banking platforms.
• Partnering with other finance functions, MIS Support, Asset & Liability (A&L) Management, and Line of Business consumers to deliver accurate, timely financial results.
• Derives meaning from big data (i.e., datasets that may be large, disparate, unstructured, and/or complex). SQL/query experience is required. Experience with large datasets preferred.
• Responding to inquiries and performing analyses based on inquiries from other lines of business or senior executive management. Ability to think critically as a problem solver and serve as a point of contact with other parts of the bank.
• Test and implement FTP methodology and operational changes within the OFSA platform.
• Maintain financial models (discounted cash flow, interest rate sensitivity, amortization)
