You will report directly to our Project Engineering Manager, and you will work out of our Phoenix, AZ location. This role is eligible for hybrid work mode, except for the first 90 days.

In this role, you will have an impact on the company's success by ensuring the successful execution and delivery of complex engineering projects, driving operational excellence, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage complex engineering projects from initiation to completion
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
  • Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
  • Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project team members
  • Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders
  • Generate and manage hardware orders within SAP
  • Coordinate the reporting requirements with Program leads
  • Coordinate material expedites, prioritization, allocation – this includes, but is not limited to, physical hardware movements both internally and externally in both open/unprotected and controlled environments.
  • Reconciles budget forecast for hardware spend with actual hardware plan.
  • Reconciles actual program hardware expense with deliveries.
  • Manages portfolio of orders on a program and SAP transactions.
  • Provide material availability and status reports for material delivery
  • Validate Engineering Project demand aligned with program budgets
  • Work with the ISC to ensure all NPD demand is maintained in project stock
  • Work with ISC to ensure plant stock orders are moved plant inventory

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
  • 2+ years of experience in project engineering or related roles
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex engineering projects on time and within budget
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Experience in risk management and problem-solving
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
  • Technical expertise in the relevant engineering discipline

  • Visual Basic in Microsoft Excel
  • Teamcenter, ECR/ECO Process, EBOM, SCS/ASL
  • Experience in working cross‐functionally with a larger Engineering Organization and multiple sites highly desired
  • Adept at SAP problem solving; effective decision making and innovation
  • Driven to product improvement; responsive; has a service mentality; achieves quality results
  • Promote customer satisfaction with capability to establish strong business and interpersonal relationships with customers and suppliers including internal Honeywell Aerospace centers of excellence (COE)
