The position
Our SW development department is looking for a Technical Project Manager (TPM) that will represent the department in front of Customers for the newest projects at ME. As SW TPM you will work closely with Customers and Solution Architects to manage customer requirements and plan the SW delivery content and timeline. You will play a vital role for defining customer related solutions and ensuring no gaps exist between customer needs and ME SW deliveries.
What will your Job look like?
- Lead Customer technical discussions or workshops to agree on the technical details of the delivered features.
- Coordinate internal SW delivery discussions across various development teams. Identify gaps and solutions to ensure flawless execution towards the project.
- Manage SW release plans, ensure SW delivery is on track and remove blockers where needed. This will be a result of tight interaction with SW development and integration teams.
- Efficiently reflect risks and status to top management within and outside of ME.
- Manage Customer SW requirements and be highly involved in defining the product roadmap based on these requirements.
- Work with management and other leaders to continually implement process improvements.
All you need is:
- . in Computer Science or a related engineering field. At least 5 years in software/technical program or engineering management experience at an enterprise technology company.
- At least 3 years in Software development or management experience for embedded systems (e.g. Linux based systems, Real-Time software, Camera-based systems).A proven ability to build roadmap and execute complex projects.
- Experience in working with and understanding the needs of the customers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to interact at all levels.
- Leadership skills along with being a team player.
- Experience in Automotive business- an advantage.
- Availability to travel abroad.
- Fluent in English and Hebrew.
