As the Electronics Hardware Developer, you will:

  • Develop electrical prototypes for forward-looking product concepts in the field of circuit protection and power distribution.
  • Design, build, and test analog and digital circuitry in applications, such as power electronics and power supplies.
  • Optimize designs for electrical safety products with high production volume.
  • Follow latest industry trends and development in power electronics and its related components for future product realization.
  • Work closely with all engineering disciplines including software/firmware, electrical hardware, mechanical, project management, verification and validation engineers and quality personnel to verify and validate prototypes/products.

You will make impact if you have the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, or related discipline is required. Advanced degree (Master’s/ PhD degree) can be substituted for industry experience.
  • 8 – 10+ years of experience with the following:
    • Developing electrical hardware, including analog and digital designs.
    • Background in power electronics and related topics, such as EMI/EMC, power dissipations, packaging and so on.
    • Developing prototypes/products in demanding, fast-paced environment.
    • Working with one or more electrical engineering design tools is required.
    • Working with common electronics laboratory equipment is required.
    • Strong hands-on skills and capabilities to build prototypes are required.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to produce results with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiar with electrical safety products, such as circuit breakers.
  • Ability to work with multiple projects. Familiarity with Agile methodology preferred.
  • Experience with microprocessor-based embedded system designs.
  • Experience developing applications using wireless IoT Network Protocols such as Bluetooth, BLE, Zigbee and Wifi.
  • Knowledge and Experience using MATLAB/SIMULINK is a bonus and converting analytical results into efficient product design.
  • Experience with new product introduction to manufacturing.
  • Basic coding skills is a plus.
  • Good oral and writing communication skills. Good documentation skills.

  • The pay range for this position is $99,000 - $169,700 and the annual incentive target is 10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
