As a Product Manager at the forefront of cloud-native software development, you’ll be instrumental in shaping the Arc-enabled Kubernetes ecosystem. You’ll champion the needs of developers and DevOps, leveraging Arc-connected Kubernetes experiences and Open APIs to drive innovation and empower them to create cutting-edge applications and services. Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Passion for customers and solving complex problems.
  • Other Requirements:
    • Cloud Background check: Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
    • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 7+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Understanding of Developer ecosystem, Windows, Linux, and Kubernetes technology stacks.
  • Familiarity with the cloud native technology stack, and PaaS offerings in Azure and other public cloud vendors.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Engage directly with customers to understand their needs, shaping the product roadmap and driving impactful decisions.
  • Develop features and product specifications that align with Microsoft’s first-party developer capabilities and open-source software.
  • Deliver presentations and documentation that resonate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Represent Microsoft at conferences and customer outreach events, advocating for the Kubernetes/Cloud Native Open-Source community.
