Key Responsibilities:

  • Key local contact for managers and employees in the adidas Lucerne office for all HR matters
  • Trusted advisor to employees on all people related matters. Coach and mentor people managers to be empowered around people, engagement and performance topics/decisions
  • Closely collaborate with HR colleagues in other locations across the HR operating model to ensure consistent employee experience for global teams
  • HR contact liaison with authorities, government agencies, and external vendors
  • Ensure our people products and processes are executed in line with the adidas business and HR strategy
  • Educate and support people managers in their responsibilities related to appraisals, grievance, absence, people budget planning, talent acquisition, rewards as well as development and training
  • Drive HR process improvement initiatives, next to various other change management plans in relation to new HR policies and processes
  • Drive and support on-site people-related activities in conjunction with expert functions e.g. in the areas of employer branding, employee engagement, etc
  • Act as the main custodian of local HR policies and procedures for adidas International Trading AG
  • Leverage local dashboards and analytics to understand people trends and drive insight-based decisions and plans
  • Act as the line manager for the local HR apprenticeship program

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • HR Capabilities: Labor law and regulations, ideally with experience in Switzerland. HR generalist with a focus on HR processes and practices and a good balance in subject matter expertise areas, such as change management support, usage of HR metrics, anticipating internal and external people trends, employee relations.
  • Business Capabilities: Commercial awareness, customer focus, understanding HR strategy, understanding business and key processes
  • Coaching and consulting capabilities: Brokering solutions to meet business needs, ability to offer HR solutions to the business, trusted advisor, small group facilitation, coaching skills, project management experience and delivery
  • Customer centered, approachable and with strong interpersonal skills
  • An excellent team player, ideally with experience of working in a matrix organization
  • Confident, creative and collaborative within the team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, presentation and facilitation skills to employees and small groups
  • Excellent organization and problem-solving skills
  • Open to new approaches and supports change actively by innovating in service of the development of new ideas, processes, approaches and methods

Requisite Education and Qualifications:

  • College or university degree (preferably main subject HR/Personnel Management)
  • Minimum of 6-7 years progressive work experience in the field of HR (preferably in an international organization)
  • Fluent in English and German (written and oral)
  • Preferably, a very good understanding of the Swiss talent market, regulations and local Swiss labor law
  • Preferably, international work experience
