Job DescriptionThis is a hybrid position at the Chandler campus in Chandler, Arizona.
Training assignments at other domestic or international locations may be required.
As a
Design Manageryour responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Be a consultant for any construction Project.
- Provide project leadership for technical engineering and design execution.
- Assemble a team of engineering specialists and assess the feasibility of new projects.
- Lead the development of a more detailed scope through field walks and collaboration with facilities operations partners and project engineers.
- Detailed design and construction performed by our world-class supply chain partners.
- Serve as the Owner's representative to provide technical guidance and issue resolution.
- Lead Engineer who defines design criteria, lead scope definition, and justification and develop design concepts.
- Oversee the completion of positioning, programming, and detailed design.
- Work with estimators to ensure costs are captured and project budgets are met.
- Ensure implementation of the change control process to improve standards and drive innovative solutions.
- Build and drive safety Culture of Caring in every business environment, office to the construction sites, and from front-end planning to construction execution.

QualificationsMinimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum qualifications:
The candidate must possess one of the following:
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering related field with 4+ years of experience in project management in design or construction
- Or Master's degree in an Engineering related field with 3+ years of experience in project management in design or construction.
Preferred qualification
- Experience in Technical writing.
- Focus on industrial, semiconductor, high-tech, and cleanroom projects.
