As an SDE-I on our team, you will collaborate with senior engineers to clarify business requirements and design architectures that meet those needs. Furthermore, you will progress in your career by leading and implementing innovative designs alongside senior engineers, cross-functional teams, and product managers, ensuring the development of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions. Key responsiblities will include:- Design and implement highly scalable architectures and system components to meet the requirements of high-scale business programs, that involve billions of transactions per day.- Maintain the health of day-to-day system operations and influence the minimization of operational burden.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 1+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence
- Strong understanding of database theory and experience with at least one relational or non-relational data store technology


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 2+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Ability to take a project from scoping requirements through its launch
