Following KLA procedures to provide consistent results within specified cycle and complete KLA server installations at customer sites
Working directly with the local service teams to verify the KLA server performance is meeting spec, tools can successfully establish connection with the server
Reporting on the post install quality issues, that includes but is not limited to OOBQ, issues that impacted the CT and work with HQ teams to standardize the issues
Diagnosing and solving problems related to server installation as well as problems related to tool to servercommunication.
Gathering lessons learned that are based on the past server installations, channeling the lessons learned to product engineer with the aim of improving service documentation
Providing global support during product ramp, including early shippers/beta launches, and actively contributing to validation efforts aimed at identifying areas for improvement and fine-tuning the performance of our server products.
Delivering hands on training to local service teams and providing critical issue support to field teams, both during the development phase and after the release of our server products.
Taking ownership of small-scale projects related to server installations, leading them to successful completion within specified timelines, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Performing detailed analysis, fixing complex issues, and creating best known methods (BKMs) that serve as comprehensive guides for operating and maintaining our released server products.
Identifying areas for improvement in knowledge data and systems, tapping into your expertise to recommend and implement enhancements that enhance the performance and reliability of our server products.
Demonstrating system-level troubleshooting experience, confidently addressing technical challenges and delivering effective solutions to ensure optimal performance of our server products.
Includes up to 75% travel – domestically and internationally.
Minimum Qualifications
Server Networking: Understanding of TCP/IP fundamentals and knowledge of protocols, including DNS, DHCP, HTTP, LDAP, and SMTP.
Platform knowledge: knowledge of one or more flavors of Linux, such as SuSE, RedHat, CentOS, or Ubuntu.
Orchestration: Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes, with the ability to solve issues associated with these technologies.
Communication and Influence: Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
Standout colleague: Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Adaptability: Passion for continuous learning and the ability to adapt to new technologies and tools in a fast-paced industry.
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years of experience working with orchestration platforms, configuration management, server networking. IT experience is a plus
