In this role, you’re expected to:
- Lead and manage Strategic Control and Process Improvement Initiatives of CSDO Ledgers team, including the development of project plans and timelines.
- Conduct process reviews and analysis to identify manual touch points that are vulnerable to operational errors and make recommended control enhancements and automation solutions.
- Drive the identification of issues and control deficiencies and open Corrective Action Plan (CAP), as needed, to address these issues.
- Recommend and deploy tech enablers (i.e. SQL, Python, Knime,) to automate manual processes and controls.
- Collaborate with Cross functional teams to ensure seamless execution of initiatives and/or CAPs.
- Monitor and track the progress of initiatives. Identify and mitigate risks and roadblocks and escalate and monitor any risk/issue items to closure, and ensure timely delivery of initiatives.
- Prepare status and dashboards to communicate progress and results of control initiatives to senior leadership.
- Establishes consistent processes and a strong control environment, review procedures and MCA assessments for Strategic Ledger Ops
- Understands the impact of new requirements (i.e. regulatory requirements) to our processes, controls and Assessment unit (AU), and ensure Ledger Ops compliance with any new control requirements.
- Establishes and monitors the group’s operational and organizational metrics, KRIs and SLAs and recommend actions, as necessary.
- Hold periodic governance forums (i.e. monthly metrics review) with CSDO ledger leads to review accomplishments, metrics, etc
As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:
- 12+ years of relevant experience
- Knowledge on financial system data flow and ledger operations.
- Exemplifies Citi’s leadership principles. Shows ownership, accountability and is collaborative.
- Strong control mindset and Experience in Risk and Control functions and operational excellence functions preferable.
- Bachelor’s/University degree
- Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
