In this role, you will sit with the GTMC SIERRA's engineering organization, and work with Data Engineers, Software developer engineers, UX designers, business intelligence engineers and data scientists. You will be responsible to design and build data products and services at scale to have a significant impact on 1.5 million Amazonians and the communities Amazon serves.Key job responsibilities
1. Design, implement, and support a platform providing secured access to large datasets.
2. Architect , develop and maintain end to end scalable data infrastructure and data pipelines
3. Develop the teams' data strategy and technical road map of data storage & pipelines design and implementation
4. Interface with other technology teams to extract, transform, and load data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL, scripting and AWS big data technologies.
5. Designing and implementing complex ETL pipelines and other BI solutions.7. Keep up to date with advances in big data technologies and run pilots to design the data architecture to scale with the increased data volume using AWS.
8. Empower the team for self-servicing by providing the necessary skills to handle complex tasks independently.
9. Ensure that the team can efficiently manage and troubleshoot data-related issues, leading to increased autonomy and productivity. along with fostering a culture of self-reliance.
