Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree in Information Systems, Quality Assurance Manufacturing, Photonics, Optical Systems, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Product Manager, Resident Engineer, Support Engineer, or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: fiber optic communication systems; Photonics and Broadband networks; Optical network at Layer 1 and Layer 2; Ciena optical products including 6500 and MCP; fiber characteristics; optical modules; optical protocols; system’s configuration; DWDM; OTN; wavelength assignment; and optical signal amplification.
