- Lead the development of new OLED fabrication technologies to meet the performance requirements of a wide range of display products - Drive display & component supply manufacturers aggressively on technical innovation to achieve desired OLED panel performance and features - Conduct technical risk assessment, root cause analysis, failure analysis, and design of experiments to understand fundamental OLED and process physic; drive associated solutions and corrective actions - Quickly solve problems during technology development and product implementation stages; transition from proof of concept to high volume mass production
- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, physics, materials science, mechanical engineering, or related fields and a minimum of 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
- 2+ years of experience and proven track record with one of the following: OLED display manufacturing, OLED evaporation / encapsulation process, OLED device physics, optical & material characterization, or related OLED display process
- Masters or PhD
- Experience with various OLED processes: lithography-based OLED, inkjet printing, vapor jet printing, quantum dot, white OLED, etc.
- Experience with early-stage technology evaluation and development
- Experience with simulation and analysis: Direct simulation Monte Carlo (DSMC), structural / thermal Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
- Ability to model OLED evaporation, encapsulation, color filter process or photolithography
- High degree of flexibility — able work autonomously and creatively drive project results independently
- Able to handle multiple projects, programs and strategic development efforts without direct supervision
- Strong communication skills to facilitate effective cross-functional collaboration with diverse teams and cultures
