  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or related technical discipline AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
    • OR equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience planning, designing, implementing, and delivering large projects spanning multiple engineers.
  • 2+ years of experience building Micro Services using Kubernetes & Operating Support System (OSS)

This position will beto pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer scienceor related technical field AND 10+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
    • ORmaster’s degree in computer scienceor related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#,Golang,Java, JavaScript,or Python
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of experience with distributed systems design and implementation.
  • Proficient communication skills, both technical and non-technical, with the ability to convey complex ideas to various stakeholders.
  • Ability to influence broadly towards common goals and priorities.
  • Experience with microservices architecture, Kubernetes, Linux, Open Telemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, and related technologies.
  • Experience with building observability systems.

  • across Observabilityorganizationto designand build scalable, high-performance services thatarehighlyreliable.
  • You’llbuild,foster,grow,andretainateam of high-performance engineers.
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to engineers in, and beyond, your team.
  • Own and deliver complete features across the development lifecycle, including design, architecture, implementation, testability, debugging, shipping, and servicing.
  • Write and review clean, well-thought-out code with an emphasis on quality, performance, simplicity, durability, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Be passionate about making customers successful.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, advancements in service health, andidentifyopportunities for innovation within the field.
