Product Strategy & Vision:

  • Develop and articulate a compelling product vision and strategy that aligns with PayPal’s overall business objectives and positions us as a leader in the financial platform space.

  • Identify and evaluate emerging trends, technologies, and competitive landscapes in the P2P market to inform product roadmap and strategy.

  • Work closely with executive leadership to define and execute PayPal’s product strategy, focusing on growth and customer satisfaction.

Leadership & Team Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of product managers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Set clear goals and performance expectations, and provide coaching and professional development opportunities to team members.

  • Foster an inclusive and diverse team environment that encourages creativity and new ideas.

Product Development & Execution:

  • Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle for key areas, including the PayPal app, design systems, onboarding, third-party integrations, identity management, core P2P flows, and search functionality.

  • Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and other stakeholders to deliver products that meet customer needs and drive business growth.

  • Ensure timely and successful product launches with effective go-to-market strategies.

  • Develop and maintain a cohesive product roadmap that aligns with business goals and customer needs.

Customer Focus & Insights:

  • Champion a customer-centric approach to product development, leveraging customer feedback, analytics, and market research to drive product decisions.

  • Identify and prioritize customer pain points and opportunities to enhance user experience and satisfaction, with a focus on simplifying onboarding and optimizing core P2P flows.

  • Work closely with customer support and analytics teams to gather insights and make data-driven improvements.

Financial & Business Impact:

  • Drive the financial performance of the product portfolio, including revenue growth, profitability, and market share.

  • Define key metrics and KPIs to measure product success and make data-driven decisions to optimize performance.

  • Collaborate with finance and analytics teams to monitor product performance and make strategic adjustments as needed.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and effective communication across teams.

  • Represent the product function in executive leadership discussions and provide strategic input on company-wide initiatives.

  • Work closely with marketing and partnerships teams to explore new opportunities for growth and innovation.

What you need to bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 10+ years of experience in product management, with 5 years in a senior leadership role within the fintech or financial services industry, preferably in P2P solutions.

  • Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling digital financial products in a competitive market.

  • Strong understanding of P2P and fintech trends, technologies, regulatory environments, and customer needs.

  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex app ecosystems, design systems, user onboarding, third-party integrations, identity management, and search functionality.

  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and drive results across all levels of the organization.

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and product management tools.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

  • Passion for innovation and staying ahead of industry trends and advancements.
