SME for monitoring tools that form part of the global monitoring strategy
Participate in global discussions on the continuation and evolution on global monitoring strategy
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years Development or Architecture experience for multi-tiered business applications
- 10+ years production systems Architecting and/or support role
- Proven experience with supporting monitoring tools such as – Dynatrace, Splunk, Catchpoint
- Familiarity with supporting monitoring on Cloud and Containers infrastructure
- Knowledge of OS (Windows/Unix) based infrastructure services, processing, monitoring, shell scripts, etc.
- Proven experience in programming languages (Java and/or .NET)
- Proven experience in application/network performance and availability monitoring
- Proven experience in N-Tier Architecture supporting a multitude of products (Webserver, Middleware, Database, etc.)
- Knowledge of ITIL functions and processes
- An excellent communicator, able to network and influence across multiple levels is required of this role
- A self-motivated, hands-on, driven individual
- A strategic thinker who can link business context to technical reality
Desired Qualifications:
- 4-year college degree
- Previous experience in development and/or support of Banking applications
- Experience in Major Incident Management
- Experience dealing with vendor relationships
- Demonstrated experience influencing change in large organizations
The ideal candidate will have experience working and being successful in a large, multi-data center enterprise environment. Business acumen a plus. Communication and flexibility are important skills for this role, as special projects may be assigned over time.
