Job responsibilities:
- Help create and drive analytics and reporting for head of HR and HR CFO agenda
- Create, maintain and review financial models and analyses (both recurring and ad-hoc)
- Contribute to firmwide projects that drive efficiencies across the HR organization
- Conduct "deep dive" analyses on key issues impacting business to determine root cause and propose solutions
- Develop, consolidate and present insightful and robust qualitative and quantitative financial analysisfor key internal clients including senior management; participate and support ad-hoc special projects and requests as needed
- Being obsessed with data quality
- Develop structure and strategy across the firmwide HR hierarchy
- Understanding different sources used for all reporting (finance and non-finance) and developing a consistent approach
- Partner with Business Management and finance teams to develop insightful reporting, focusing on drivers, and understanding context and developing opinion on next steps
- Collaborate with business partners across firmwide HR to ensure the timely, accurate and effective delivery of recurring and ad-hoc initiatives
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- BA/BS in Finance, Economics, Accounting or Corporate Finance with at least 2-4 years of relevant experience, in financial services
- Understands financial P&Ls
- Experience in corporate financial analytics / understanding of key drivers
- Exceptional analytical, problem solving and project management skills with a proven track record of execution against deliverables; strategic thinker
- Excellent oral & written communication and relationship management skills
- Strong technical and analytical skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, Prior Essbase experience preferred
- Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to synthesize large amounts of data, summarize key concepts and articulate appropriately
- Sound judgment, professional maturity, personal integrity, and strong work ethic
- Proactive and results-oriented, ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
- The candidate must be a self-starter and seeks to break the status-quo and initiate improvements where necessary
