Engineering Support & Design
- Assist in the design and development of tooling, jigs, and fixtures for manufacturing automation.
- Support concept designs for component handling systems and workstation layouts .
- Create 2D/3D CAD models and technical drawings using SolidWorks or similar software.
- Conduct basic tolerance studies, GD&T analysis, and simulations to verify design accuracy.
Project Assistance
- Support engineering projects from concept to implementation under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Assist in project scheduling, documentation, and reporting .
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of automation solutions.
- Coordinate with vendors for the procurement of engineering components and materials.
Process Improvement & Problem-Solving
- Help analyze and troubleshoot tooling, fixtures, and automation equipment .
- Participate in feasibility studies for new product transfers and process enhancements .
- Contribute to Lean Manufacturing initiatives and workspace optimization efforts.
Training & Technical Learning
- Gain hands-on experience in automation system design and manufacturing processes .
- Learn and apply GD&T principles, tolerance analysis, and mechanical design best practices .
- Work closely with senior engineers to develop technical and problem-solving skills .
