Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership and Management:
  1. Lead and manage the Endpoint Security Engineering team, ensuring effective design, implementation, and maintenance of endpoint security solutions.
  1. Oversee the operations of Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Defender for Office, Vera Information Rights Management, and DLP Exceptions Management.
  1. Endpoint Security Engineering:
  1. Develop and implement endpoint security strategies and solutions to protect organizational assets from threats.
  1. Ensure the configuration and optimization of endpoint security tools to enhance protection against malware, data breaches, and other security incidents.
  1. Policy Development and Compliance:
  1. Establish, maintain, and enforce data governance policies and procedures related to information protection and compliance.
  1. Oversee the development and management of DLP policies to prevent data loss and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  1. Risk Management and Incident Response:
  1. Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  1. Lead the investigation and resolution of security incidents related to endpoint security and information protection.
  1. User Training and Awareness:
  1. Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on endpoint security practices, information protection policies, and the use of relevant tools.
  1. Foster a culture of security awareness and compliance throughout the organization.
  1. Collaboration and Communication:
  1. Work closely with IT, security, and business units to integrate endpoint security and information protection solutions with existing systems and workflows.
  1. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to report on security metrics, incidents, and recommendations for improvement.
  1. Continuous Improvement:
  1. Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in endpoint security and information protection.
  1. Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within endpoint security engineering and information protection operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing endpoint security engineering and information protection operations, specifically with Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Defender for Office, Vera Information Rights Management, and DLP.
  • Strong understanding of endpoint security principles, data governance, compliance frameworks, and information security best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP), Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals) are a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with risk management and compliance tools.
  • Familiarity with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and industry standards.
  • Knowledge of cloud security concepts and technologies.

Work Environment:

This position may require occasional after-hours support and on-call availability. The Manager of Endpoint Security Engineering and Information Protection will work in a collaborative team environment, contributing to the overall security and compliance posture of the organization.

What we offer

The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $100,800 to $183,800. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $120,800 to $209,000. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
