The role focuses on developing and executing outstanding co-marketing campaigns and merchant programs with external partners/merchants, driving measurable ROI for both sides.


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage partnership marketing strategies to drive business growth and engagement
  • Build and maintain relationships with partners, including regional system integrators, digital agencies, and consultants
  • Audit the existing developer program experience and identify areas for improvement
  • Design, build, and deploy strategic marketing communications to support the developer lifecycle
  • Take ownership of developer-focused platforms, enhancing architecture, content, and SEO
  • Plan and execute lead generation campaigns and lifecycle communications for developers
  • Manage Developer Meetup events, including invitations, logistics, and execution
  • Collaborate with partners to create joint go-to-market strategies and co-marketing initiatives
  • Create marketing toolkit content to help developers promote solutions on their own channels
  • Work closely with data and analytics teams to track performance and optimize strategies

Expected Qualifications:

  • 5+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Additional Responsibilities & Preferred Qualifications:

  • Own and Execute Partnership Campaigns: Lead the end-to-end development and delivery of consumer co-marketing campaigns with key merchants and brands — from concept and pitch through execution and post-campaign analysis.

  • Drive Growth Through Collaboration: Build and nurture strong, trust-based partner relationships, co-creating programs and promotions that deliver measurable business impact and inspire consumer engagement.

  • Identify and Secure New Opportunities: Proactively pitch partnership ideas to merchants in partnership with Sales, demonstrating commercial acumen and creating mutually beneficial opportunities that advance both PayPal’s and partners’ goals.

  • Lead Hands-On Execution: Oversee creative development, campaign setup, asset delivery, and activation across digital and in-store channels to ensure best-in-class execution.

  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work cross-functionally with internal partners — including brand, product, analytics, and legal — to ensure alignment, efficiency, and flawless delivery.

  • Measure and Optimize: Track and analyze performance metrics, translating insights into actionable recommendations to continuously improve campaign results and partnership value.

Expected Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
