Job Description

TheDevelopment Data Platform (DDP)is a key component of our Research IT landscape, serving as the central hub for data storage and access for downstream applications in critical areas such as Regulatory, Clinical, Quality, Safety, and more.

We are looking for an experienced Mulesoft Developer to help maintain and expand the platform, ensuring its stability and scalability. You will work on complex integration projects, collaborating with stakeholders across the organization to design and implement seamless data flows between our data platform and consumer applications.

• Assist in the design and development of integrations between thecloud-based Data Platformand downstream consumer applications usingMulesoft Anypoint.
• Help implementAPI-led connectivitysolutions, creating reusable and scalable APIs under the guidance of senior developers.
• Work withMulesoft Exchangeto understand and leverage existing API assets, ensuring integrations align with enterprise standards.
• Support the creation and maintenance of cloud-based data pipelines, ensuring seamless data flow between systems.
• Participate in the design and development of integration solutions to meet business requirements, with a focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Assist in testing, troubleshooting, and optimizing integrations to ensure they meet quality and performance standards.
• Collaborate with senior team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data quality, security, and integration performance.
• Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and deployment processes to maintain high standards for integration solutions.

• Exposure toiPaaSsolutions and cloud-based integration platforms likeMulesoft Anypoint.
• Familiarity withAPI-led connectivityprinciples and the role of APIs in cloud-based integrations.
• Knowledge of basic API security concepts, such as OAuth and API key management.
• Experience withCI/CDprocesses and deployment pipelines in cloud environments.
• Experience working incloud environments(AWS or Azure) or an interest in learning about cloud-native integration practices.
• Familiarity with version control systems likeGitHuband project management tools likeJira.
• Knowledge ofagile development methodologiesand a desire to work in an agile environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies and techniques.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues across functions.
• Strong attention to detail and a focus on writing clean, maintainable code.
