Job Description
Education Minimum Requirements:
Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, IT, or an equivalent scientific/commercial discipline.
Required Experience and Skills:
Preferably minimum of 5 -7 years of relevant experience in designing solutions utilizing data platforms, preferably in data engineering.
Extensive hands-on experience developing data systems in cloud environments.
Understanding of data warehousing, data modeling (3NF and dimensional)
Experience with database technologies (e.g., SQL, DataBricks, RedShift), ETL and data integration tools (dbt, AWS Glue)
Hands-on experience with DevOps technologies such GitHub, Git CI/CD and/or Jenkins and automation of deployment.
Good interpersonal and communication skills; adept at working with colleagues from diverse disciplines and at all levels of the company, articulating complex technical topics at the right level of detail for specific audiences.
Proven experience in team building, mentoring, and leadership with a demonstrated ability to inspire others to follow a common vision.
Proven ability to execute consistently, rapidly, and effectively.
Good organizational skills, with the ability to navigate a complex matrix environment and efficiently prioritize work.
Preferred Experience:
Experience developing reference architecture, principles and standards, and best practices
Familiarity with data science algorithms, such as advanced statistical methods, Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing (NLP) modeling, and model evaluation, is a plus.
Proven knowledge of business processes and industry/market trends within the pharmaceutical/healthcare space.
Strong track record of successfully completing multi-stakeholder projects that require cross-functional coordination between departments.
