Lead the setup, operation, and support of all AV and immersive systems for client visits to the CEC, executive briefings, live events, and studio productions.
Serve as the primary technical point of contact for AV-related queries, delivering polished, proactive, and professional support to clients, facilitators, and centre staff.
Represent the centre with confidence and poise in front of clients and visitors, ensuring a consistently outstanding customer experience.
Provide Level 1 (L1) support for the green room studio, including basic troubleshooting of broadcast cameras, chroma key (green screen) environments, lighting, audio, and streaming equipment; coordinate with specialist vendors and service providers for advanced studio support, maintenance, and upgrades; ensure the studio is ready for use, performing routine checks and escalating complex issues as required.
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot a wide range of AV technologies, including LED video walls, interactive touch displays, projectors, sound systems, digital signage, transparent OLEDs, spatial displays, and more.
Support and maintain immersive and specialty systems such as holographic displays, Pufferfish spheres, Looking Glass 3D, AR/VR devices, and robotics (e.g., Temi, Unitree).
Provide support for Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) systems and assist with Teams call setup, connectivity, and troubleshooting.
Perform regular system checks, preventive maintenance, and basic repairs to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Liaise and coordinate with external AV vendors, technology partners, the backend AV specialist, and creative teams for advanced troubleshooting, warranty support, upgrades, new installations, continuous improvement initiatives, and to ensure timely, high-quality service delivery and seamless integration of new technologies.
Maintain accurate records of AV system configurations, cabling, and maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
Required Qualifications & Skills
AV certifications (e.g., CTS, Dante, Crestron, Extron) – required
7–10 years of hands-on experience in AV support, event technology, or immersive experience environments, with significant exposure to studio/broadcast environments (especially green room/chroma key production) and direct vendor management
Medium-level networking knowledge, including AV networking and AV-over-IP – required
Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, audio, video, and streaming platforms
Experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR), Teams call support, and projection mapping technologies
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, client-facing environment
