- Build a Derivation platform that powers various business decision derivations to be used across Walmart Global Tech to support the growth of Market Place and Sellers.
- Design and develop key features of the platform using a microservices architecture.
- Implement microservices that allow business users write and executes business rules for business attributes derivation.
- Build data systems that ingest, model, and analyze billions of events daily to support business decisions.
- Troubleshoot business and production issues by gathering information (issue, impact, criticality, root cause), engage support teams to assist in resolution of issues, formulate an action plan, performing actions as designated in plan, interpret the results to determine further action, and complete online documentation.
- Implement simulation services to allow business users to estimate impact before applying rules.
- Build visibility and monitoring tool to allow business and operational users to monitor and track the progress and impact of any rule change across the systems.
- Lead the design and development of business and platform features by coordinating across multiple teams.
What you'll bring:
- Experience programming in an object-oriented language using Java .
- Experience developing large scale systems using a microservice architecture and Java Reactive Programming.
- Experience in frameworks such as Spring Boot or Micronaut .
- Experience in containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker, Kubernetes etc.
- Experience in creating and maintaining data processing pipelines with tools including Apache Kafka , Apache Spark, Cassandra, Elastic Search , Cosmos.
- Experience building various Grafana and Splunk dashboards and configuring alerts.
- Experience developing techniques to ascertain correctness of data processing and transformation implementations using unit, integration, and end-to-end pipeline testing using Mockito, Cucumber.
- Experience in performing analytics queries and operations on large datasets using BigQuery.

The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00-$234,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: - Stock
