You’ll play an integral role in operations and work directly with project managers, wastewater operators, environmental scientists, and other technicians to ensure systems are functioning properly and effectively. You’ll contribute to the success of our program by diagnosing operating problems, performing necessary corrective action, and providing effective solutions to complex challenges that may arise. To be successful in this role, you’ll need solid experience in basic wastewater plant operations, underground line cleaning, and data collection & recordkeeping. It would be great to have experience with PLC and SCADA systems, and previous HAZWOPER and/or Confined Space Entry training, which are a plus but are not required. The ideal candidate would also have solid mechanical skills, with the ability to work independently on pumps, plumbing, and motors including electrical troubleshooting and repair. We’re seeking someone with strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment with people of varying skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Construction equipment operations, and other responsibilities may also include exterior building and grounds maintenance, quality control/testing, groundwater sampling, and various other day-to-day activities, as required. Most importantly, you’ll take action to ensure the safety, health and well-being of you and your team.
- Solid experience in basic wastewater plant operations, underground line cleaning, and data collection & recordkeeping.
- High School diploma or equivalent for education level.
- Valid driver’s license without any major infractions.
Ideally, you'll also have
