The ideal candidate may have a four-year degree in C.S. or Engineering and a minimum of 6+ years product support experience or software development. Candidates must be a critical thinker with strong customer service skills.
Required Technical Skills

  • Able to read and analyse C/C++/C# & SQL
  • Experience with post-mortem debugging using WinDbg or similar debugger tools
  • Working knowledge of Windows Architecture, Internals and System Center Products, SME in Device and Deployments, performance.
  • Source Code Review / Source Code Level Investigations
  • Bug Fixes & Design Change Requests
  • Thorough troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in debugging native and managed code
  • Experience with scripting language-based development (PowerShell, VB Script, JavaScript)
  • Experience in reading and analysing C/C++/C# & SQL, Source Code Review / Source Code Level Investigations
  • Bug Fixes & Design Change Requests
  • Experience with Unix/Linux
  • Familiarity with networking protocols and knowledge of troubleshooting network issues, infrastructure components, and cloud services.
  • Expert Knowledge in troubleshooting Aure VM Performance and reliability issues.
  • Knowledge on Hyper-V and IaaS is an added advantage.
  • Impeccable communication skills in both written and spoken English.
  • Effective learning skills.

  • Collaborate with Engineering teams regularly to provide technical reviews and action plans for the customers.
  • Share knowledge through communities with other engineers and develop customer solutions efficiently.
  • Use trace analysis, debug skills, source code and other proprietary tools to analyze problems and develop solutions to meet the customer needs.
  • Communicate with Microsoft product groups often to influence decisions.
  • Understand the customer needs and deliver the great customer experience.
  • Willingness to learn the products you are supporting and required like System Center products.
  • Mentor SRE’s to SME level
