You will play a pivotal role alongside other experts responsible for supporting the CFO and coordinating the CFO agenda on key strategic priorities, regulatory deliverables and projects. You will drive and manage time-sensitive and high visibility projects and also act as a trusted adviser and counterweight to the CFO.
As a Vice President in the CFO Business Management team, you will be responsible for coordinating the CFO Agenda on strategic priorities and key Finance Projects and Deliverables. You will manage a defined set of projects end-to-end, from initiation through to execution, under the CFO’s ownership and function as the co-ordination, communication and escalation point with regard to CFO related matters across LOBs and Functions including Governance, Outsourcing Oversight and Business Resiliency and Support.
Job responsibilities
- Support the JPMSE CFO on delivering key priorities for the Bank coordinating regulatory materials, producing strategic analysis and reporting
- Liaise with firmwide stakeholders such as the Business Heads and Business Managers across Line of Business, Control Management, Compliance, Risk, Internal Audit, local and regional corporate functions (e.g. Finance, HR, IT)
- Ensure timely completion of requested information / reporting, regulatory priorities and audit enquiries
- Prepare executive materials for meetings with senior management including the Management Board and Supervisory Board and their committees and regulatory authorities, etc.
- Establish and produce comprehensive management reports
- Manage and minimize the risks that arise from non-compliance with legal rules and regulations and the Firm’s policies and procedures
- Contribute actively to the BoW of the CFO Business Management team
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Business, Economics or another relevant area
- Extensive experience in project management / business management / Chief of Staff roles
- Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to partner effectively with people across different functions and various levels of seniority
- Project management skills with ability to multi-task, to work well under pressure with commitment to deliver under tight deadlines, and to lead cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to aggregate data and identify root causes
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office tools, especially PowerPoint and Excel
- Excellent organization and project management skills, strong time management and prioritization skills
- Proven experience delivering timely, high-quality presentations and/or reporting for various projects and stakeholders
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a high ownership mentality
- Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
