Essential Responsibilities:
- Recognize and articulate business requirements
- Implement PayPal solutions adhering to guidelines and company policies
- Act as the main technical point of contact for allimplementation-relatedactivities
- Provide technical development and coding support
- Consult with clients through testing and pre-launch activities
- Relay feedback to Product Managers, Engineering, Technology, and other internal groups
- Integrate proposed PayPal solutions into client commerce platforms
- Ensure partners implement optimal integration strategies, techniques, and user experience best practices
- Translate requirements into detailed design and solution documents
- Assess and troubleshoot most integration issues
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualification:
- Prior experience working as a Solutions Engineer, TechnicalPre-sales Engineer or Solutions Architect
- Excellent communicator and relationship builderwith theability to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience
- Creative thinker and experienced at understanding clients pain points.
- Highly skilled at applying consultative methodologies andtechniques to influence solution design and solve integrationpain points
- Experience with Web and Mobile development technologies (iOS,Android) is required: JavaScript, Node.JS, PHP, Java, REST, SOAP, NVP, Webhooks are commonly used by our clients
- Prior experiencewithin the payments industry will behighly
regarded - Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering orequivalentpractical experience
- Sound knowledge of online payment processing across web,mobile app, and in store
- Ideal candidate will have experience in working with enterpriseorganizations - preferably retailers, ecommerce, shopping cartsand payment gateways
- Experience with system discovery process, requirementsgathering and systems architecture
