The Role:

• opportunitytoleadthedevelopmentofBusiness AI ScenariosonSAPbusinessdataembeddedinarichanddiversebusinesscontext.
• Technical leadfor the project team ofAIScientists andDataEngineers,providingstrategic guidance and overseeing project execution.
• Design a representation suitable forSelf-SupervisedLearning on data across the entire SAP application and process portfolio.
• Define processes, methods, hypothesis,experimentsand review results from the ground upwith an understanding toput them together forEnd-to-EndFoundational Model.
• Leverage semantic business and process knowledge inthe formof a Knowledge Graph.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams to understand needs and requirements, ensuring theFoundationModels/LLMsalignwithstrategiccompanyobjectivesof embedding AI into our product portfolio

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of AI andDataEngineering trendsand applythisexpertiseto improve team performance and product quality.
• Establishanddriveresearchcollaborationswithacademicandcommercialpartners.
• Contribute to thought leadership in arevolutionarynew data modality forFoundationModels andGenerative AI.

What you bring

• PhD ormaster’s degree inComputerScience,ArtificialIntelligence, or other relevant disciplines.
• Extensive experience withLLMsor Deep Learningas well asMachineLearning withKnowledgeGraphs(e.g.GNNs).
• Deep understanding of issues and opportunities of applying Generative AI in abusinesscontext.
• Proficiencyin Python, and experience withMLframeworkssuch asPyTorch,TensorFlow,or similar.
• Ideally,professionalexperiencewithMachine Learning on structured data such as in the ERP or CRM domain.
• Exceptionalteamwork abilities, strongleadershipand strategic thinking skills.
• Substantialpublication record related toLLMs,FoundationModels,or Knowledge Graphs.
