Your key responsibilities
- Substantive matters of current and emerging regulatory expectations regarding ESG and Climate Risk
- Strategy setting and implementation of net-zero commitments made by our clients
- Advice and guidance on structuring client organizational model (people, process and technology) for ESG / climate risk
- Structure and function of compliance roles and responsibilities and business models
- Understanding of ESG and Climate aligned technology and data solutions including fintech and regtech innovation
- Regulatory change management including planning and communication with regulators
- Climate Risk Management Framework Development
- Revision or formulation of new policies and controls aligned with regulatory and compliance guidelines and requirements

To qualify for the role you must have
- Strong educational background from a top institution, preferably majoring in sustainability, climate risk, accounting, information systems, data, business or legal related subjects
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in ESG / Sustainability, preferably within the financial services industry, either in a consulting role or in-house.
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance and risk management.
- Experience in working in a project-based, team-oriented environment, with a proven track record of managing teams and delivering in fast-paced and demanding environments
- Excellent analytical, report-writing, facilitation and presentation skills
- Strong management skills and proven people management skills
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Professional certifications in sustainability.
- Industry related certification e.g., FRM, CPA/ CA, CFA, GARP SCR
