Your key responsibilities
You will be contributing to the growth and development of the CCaSS practice by taking operational responsibility and accountability for engagement team support by:
- Working on a diverse climate risk management projects, encompassing development of physical and transition risk stress testing processes, methodologies, and models for clients
- Assessing the impact of climate risk to other financial risk
- Reviewing potential climate stress scenarios, risk drivers, policies and manuals related to climate stress testing
- Analyzing strategic, operational, risk and financial implications of sustainability trends and translate these into commercial impact
- Assisting clients on climate risk management processes, policies and framework, including risk identification, measurement, monitoring and integration of climate risk into the enterprise risk framework
- Partnering with clients to identify and diagnose their needs and the ability to cross-sell services; and completing high level technical reports and proposals
- Managing complex technical issues in technical discipline area
- Demonstrating knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and codes of practice in area of technical discipline

To qualify for the role you must have
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Macro-economics mathematics, Financial Engineering, Risk Management, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Analytics or other STEM-related field
- Minimum of two years of work experience in Risk Management/ Credit Risk, Statistical Modelling / Climate Risk Modelling / Bank Risk Management
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Exposure to corporate reporting and/or regulatory reporting on ESG issues
- Experience in design and implementation of ESG-related initiatives and/or reporting
- Professional presence with the ability to engage management level clients as well as internal leadership stakeholders
- Ability to analyse complex or unusual issues in the context of client engagements and deliver insightful and pragmatic solutions
