Your Responsibilities will Include:
- Provide statistical expertise and support to manufacturing using statistical methods associated with product and process development, process validation, manufacturing quality control and problem-solving in root cause investigations.
- Apply a variety of statistical analyses and techniques to data generated by Operations, R&D, Process Development, and other technical groups.
- Support creation and maintenance of statistics and statistics-related procedures and tools for Maple Grove and the global network.
- Collaborate with Global Statisticians and cross-functional teams working toward continual improvement of the application and use of statistics across the site for various purposes including projects and business initiatives.
- Identify and lead projects that improve efficiencies in product and process development through designed experiments, reduced sampling methodologies and advanced or automated data analysis.
- Provide feedback to cross-functional development teams during design reviews on the application and insight from statistical analysis tools.
- Develop and deliver training (classroom or virtual options) on the appropriate use of statistical methods with Operations, R&D, Process Development, and other technical groups.
- Perform ad hoc statistical analyses and guidance as required.
- Demonstrate a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance with the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.
Required Qualifications:
- BS in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or Engineering
- Self-motivated with strong history of applied statistical analysis
- Experience with Minitab, Design Expert, and/or other related statistical software packages
- 8+ years of manufacturing industry related experience, preferably in medical devices
Preferred Qualifications:
- MS or PhD in Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt Certification
Maximum Salary: $ 188300
