Job responsibilities

• Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
• Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
• Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
• Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
• Is responsible for developing the product vision for solutions supporting Enterprise Software Management. Define roadmap and deliver technology features with a strong focus on scalability, resiliency, and stability
• Develops and implement solutions to collect, analyze, and report on software license consumption on on-prem, cloud and SaaS for billing, forecasting, budgeting, compliance, and cost optimization
• Collaborates with key stakeholders and executive leadership to drive the product strategy, roadmaps and priorities
• Manages clear vision and scope, use cases, workflows, wire-frames, and product requirements to support development
• Partners with technical teams to draft Agile epics and stories with appropriate level of detail and clear articulation of acceptance criteria
• Serve as a cross-functional leader to collaborate with design and engineering teams to drive complex key initiatives under tight deadlines
• Defines opportunities for process maturity and automation and incorporate them into product roadmaps and backlog. Participate in white board discussions with key stakeholders, executive leadership, and architecture teams

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
• Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
• Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
• Demonstrated experience leading scrum teams in a product owner capacity. Proficiency in understanding technical concepts & development process

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
• Familiarity with modern technology practices, cloud & container architectures and FinOps/Cloud Cost Management
• Familiarity with software asset management, SaaS and SaaS license management
