JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Execution: Take overall business responsibility for project execution and delivery, ensuring cost, schedule, quality, customer satisfaction, and safety standards are met.
  • Leadership: Lead and execute large-scale, multi-disciplined control solutions and advanced application projects.
  • Customer Engagement: Drive customer satisfaction through timely reporting of project progress and issues.
  • Global Project Management: Implement projects according to Global Project Management (GPM) practices, including agreement compliance, project safety, quality, schedule, risk management, cash-flow, and resource needs.
  • Business Processes: Manage monthly business processes, including project reviews, financial, material, and labor forecasting.
  • Mentorship: Provide mentoring to the project team in technical expertise, work practices, project status, and deadlines.
  • Contract Management: Participate in contract updates, audit activities, and manage third-party sub-suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Billing and Payments: Manage customer billing as per contract and ensure timely payment collection.
  • Cross-Functional Interface: Interface with other businesses and functions for cross-business projects.
  • Change Management: Act as a change agent, influencing and leading efforts to standardize best practices and processes.


Experience & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Project/Program Management.
  • Degree in business or a minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • Experience in Industrial Automation or relevant industry with a proven track record of delivering large, complex projects.
  • Proficiency with project scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, CORA) and earned value progress tracking systems.
  • Proven experience in client scope and contract negotiations.
  • Strong business acumen and project planning skills.
  • Results-oriented, self-motivated, global mindset, teamwork, and intelligent risk-taking behaviors.
  • PMI or similar Project Management accreditation (or willingness to obtain within 12 months).
  • Fluency in Finnish and the ability to conduct work in English.

  • Experience in performing the role of a program’s risk process manager.
