An integral part of the job will be the coordination and execution of key strategic sourcing initiatives as well as professional supplier relationship management.

- Act as consultant and trusted business value enabler for key stakeholders and understand business requirements.
- Create, implement, further develop, and maintain category strategy.
- Responsible for supplier management and sourcing strategies as well as strategic sourcing events.
- Driving contractual and commercial negotiations of large and complex services projects.
- Seek continuously opportunities for improvements, innovations, and savings.
- Perform market analyses / benchmarking and explore market capabilities to gain market intelligence.
- Focus on business needs / values and relationship management of internal and external key stakeholders according to stakeholder matrix.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- University degree preferably in Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field.
- Deep understanding of HR-relevant topics and categories.
- Understanding of end-to-end procurement and sourcing strategies.
- Knowledge of purchasing systems (e.g. SAP Ariba and SAP Fieldglass), MS office applications and purchasing processes.
- Fluent English (both spoken and written), with German as a significant plus.
- Proven ability to collaborate in international teams and work effectively in a virtual environment.
- Strong stakeholder and supplier management, with excellent communication, negotiation skills, and strategic thinking.
WORK EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years’ experience in procurement and HR category management within a multinational business.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate, to define business requirements and to translate them into actionable procurement activity.
- Ability to establish clear priorities and effectively manage multiple demand and time resources.
