This role is a Maternity position for 8 months.
Supports the effective implementation and application of partner product developments across the assigned region. Supports local offices and teams in delivering the best in class service to our accommodation partners; always keeping the customer at the center of everything we do. Plans, executes and supports implementation activities; ensuring all relevant materials & tools are reviewed and utilized in local offices. Fosters end-to-end feedback loops between local Partner Services, Commercial Excellence, and Product Development Teams to support our desire to be globally scalable and locally relevant.
Commercial Excellence
- Co-develop commercial initiatives to improve commercial performance of Partner Services. ● Support the Commercial Excellence Managers and the Senior Commercial Excellence Specialists executing commercial initiatives to improve channel performance (e.g. projects related to go-to-market, data support and analysis, monitoring and steering).
- Own the implementation of Booking.com BV’s global and local innovations
- Create and deliver educational materials and implementation packages as required to support the effective implementation of new products and features
- Coordinate with relevant global & regional teams to ensure adequate implementation, communication, training & tracking of successful Commercial Excellence projects.
- Influence regional product roadmaps, understanding scope, scale, and consequence of rollouts
- Identify commercial and operational improvements by collecting information, generating insights and recommendations.
- Ensure cross channel aligned approach to drive go-to-market projects to improve Partner performance.
- Support local offices, areas and regions in all relevant partner services areas
- Have a clear understanding of, and influence on, the business impact of team projects.
- Monitor implementation of new business initiatives and be able to identify and communicate opportunities to iterate
Requirements of special knowledge/skills
- A proven track record in commercial performance.
- Proven & consistent track record of creating and executing business plans and accomplishing set
- targets and expectations.
- Broad understanding of Booking.com products, the eCommerce business and overall travel strategy,
- understanding of account management operations and digital channels
- Strong commercial knowledge that drives business planning, expectations management and solution
- generation
- Able to translate business needs/complex problems into small, actionable solutions and prioritise
- them according to business value and impact.
- Knowledge of change management curve and ability to influence all stakeholders towards positive
- change adoption
- Experience in executing regional- or large scale initiatives/changes preferred
- Data driven, customer focused, proactive, creative and innovative.
- Building relationships and stakeholder management across different departments
- Knowledge of my SQL preferred (or willingness to learn)
