Key job responsibilities- Execute the electrical design workstreams encompassing the panel design, motor & drive sizing, electrical load calculations, system I/O architecture and layout, wireway placement and design, safety/guarding, and incorporation ancillary systems at the project / platform level while ensuring the technical, cost and timeline objectives are achieved
- Deliver engineering workstreams including panel design and layout, power calculations, safety analysis and compliance with appropriate regulations (UL, CSA, CE, etc..) electrical schematics, electrical hardware selection including HMI, PLC, servo axis controllers and drives, VFD’s and I/O racks
- Ensure project documentation is complete and scalable for manufacturing

- 4+ years of working in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience
- Experience with prototyping and implementation
- BA in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
- 4+ years working in industrial machinery design experience
- Knowledge of certification requirements (UL, CSA, CE)
- Industrial programming experience (HMI, PLC, Motion)

- Knowledge of SolidWorks simulation or Ansys Finite Element analysis tools
- Experience in the design of complex mechanical products and equipment at volume
- Operations experience in a manufacturing environment
