Key Job Responsibilities and Duties
Assist with the financial month end close processes including preparation and posting of journal entries, accruals, reconciliations of general ledger accounts in accordance with US GAAP and detailed supporting analysis
Assist with the preparation, review & analysis of Balance sheet, P&L and FX exposure processes including presentations to key internal stakeholders
Work closely with product teams to identify and set financial requirements
Proactive communication of potential issues to the Controller
Proactively assist and support in covering all compliance requirements including SOx framework
Actively drive continuous process improvements and innovations;
Regular contact with banks and payment service providers
Build relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure priorities are clear and consistent and information is complete and accurate
Managing ad hoc accounting and operational assignments
Help the team to meet and exceed the department goals
Mentoring and guidance to junior team members

Role Qualifications and Requirements
4+ years of (general ledger) accounting experience
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance/Accounting
Knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS
IT experience in financial systems, including SAP, is preferable
Experience with process improvement or automation
Strong stakeholder management experience and interpersonal skills
Enthusiastic, proactive and full of initiatives
Able to cope with dynamic and high change environment
Proactive self-starter, who takes ownership with a strong work ethic
Creative and critical thinker
Analytical and accurate with good attention to detail
Ability to work independently, self-motivated and disciplined
Fluent in spoken and written English
