As an Account Executive at PayPal, you will be part of the Brazil Sales Team, driving merchant acquisition across a wide spectrum of online sellers. You will be responsible for leading the entire sales process—from identifying prospects to ensuring successful technical integration—while delivering compelling, value-based solutions. Your ability to build lasting relationships and strategically position PayPal as a trusted payments partner will be key to your success.
Your day to day:

  • Build senior relationships up to C-level across functions and divisions within prospective clients.
  • Develop strong rapport through virtual and in-person meetings, highlighting the value PayPal delivers.
  • Partner with internal teams (e.g., finance, legal, compliance, marketing, product, and integration) to ensure seamless execution and customer onboarding.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management and reporting, working within a clearly defined sales process.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and thought leader to your customers through a consultative sales approach.
  • Support ongoing client engagement in collaboration with Account Management to ensure long-term success.

What do you need to bring:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the payments industry,
  • Strong knowledge of payment processing, merchant accounts, and e-commerce platforms.
  • Proven track record in managing complex sales cycles and consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Ability to organize and maintain a high-performing pipeline within a structured sales methodology.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build trust with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in selling to senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Consultative mindset with the ability to tailor solutions to client needs and drive value.
  • High attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Collaborative spirit and team player mindset with a proactive approach.
