As an Account Executive at PayPal, you will be part of the Brazil Sales Team, driving merchant acquisition across a wide spectrum of online sellers. You will be responsible for leading the entire sales process—from identifying prospects to ensuring successful technical integration—while delivering compelling, value-based solutions. Your ability to build lasting relationships and strategically position PayPal as a trusted payments partner will be key to your success.
Your day to day:
- Build senior relationships up to C-level across functions and divisions within prospective clients.
- Develop strong rapport through virtual and in-person meetings, highlighting the value PayPal delivers.
- Partner with internal teams (e.g., finance, legal, compliance, marketing, product, and integration) to ensure seamless execution and customer onboarding.
- Maintain accurate pipeline management and reporting, working within a clearly defined sales process.
- Act as a trusted advisor and thought leader to your customers through a consultative sales approach.
- Support ongoing client engagement in collaboration with Account Management to ensure long-term success.
What do you need to bring:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the payments industry,
- Strong knowledge of payment processing, merchant accounts, and e-commerce platforms.
- Proven track record in managing complex sales cycles and consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
- Ability to organize and maintain a high-performing pipeline within a structured sales methodology.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build trust with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in selling to senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders.
