Minimum university degree majoring in Accounting, Finance, Business, Management, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering from reputable overseas and local universities, with minimum GPA of 3.20 or Credit/Distinction grades (for SC).
Fresh graduates and up to 2 years of experience, preferably with the Big-4 Firms, Audit, Corporate Finance, Management Consulting, Private Equity, Venture Capital, Securities, and/or Investment House.
Professional qualifications such as CFA, FRM, CPA, CA and CMA would be highly regarded.
Fluency in English is mandatory both verbal and written.
Possessed strong analytical and structured thinking, exposures to team work as well as client facing project, demonstrate good commercial thinking and business acumen.
Having the ease to work effectively under pressure and to meet established goals and objectives within the specified deadline, while maintaining quality at all times.
Have excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with people all levels professionally.
Brief Description of Role Some of the key responsibilities would include:
Help clients to achieve their strategic goals, whether they are acquiring or divesting assets, by participating in one of our services (i.e. Financial Due Diligence, Valuation & Business Modelling, Lead Advisory, Restructuring and EY Parthenon).
Working directly with the senior management teams for both buyers and sellers.
Analyze financial and operational results of targets company through reviewing accounting records and conducting interviews with management.
Prepare and evaluate pro forma financial information to assess trends and fluctuations that may impact cash flow requirements and deal valuation
Identify issues for purchase price reductions, deal structuring or deal termination
Correlate financial due diligence findings with client valuations and price negotiations
Perform industry and company research utilizing online tools and publicly available information
Assist in researching technical accounting issues to evaluate implications on transaction valuation and structuring
Assist in preparing reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties
Work with other EY service teams to deliver an integrated service to our clients.
Likely to also work on a number of cross border assignments working with other EY offices around the world
